"The greatest show under earth" is a story I have always wanted to develop for some time now as a full length film. it is planned to be a children's animated musical dark fantasy film. the main story is about A mysterious traveling carnival called "le carnaval rouille"”appears in the woods near the village of Eable every few years. people who wander into the woods during the hunter's moon are said to be spirited away. 

 

as this is my final year project animation I wanted to make a short animated prequel with narration to tell about the event that started the rumour's of the circus in the woods.

I used blender mainly due to my inspirations from Tim Burton’s style along with the CG opening of Resident Evil 8 and I wanted to create something visually similar to those inspirations while telling my own personal story.
